Intensity and elegance dominate in this wine. The nose shows aromatic herbs, eucalyptus, bramble fruit and sweet spices. Full-bodied, it has firm, velvety tannins, refreshing acidity, a slightly chalky finish and a long, savory aftertaste. Drinkable now, but best in two or three years. Vinous:

The 2022 Biserno is soft, vibrant and inviting. Silky contours and supple fruit lend tons of immediacy. Plum, pomegranate, blood orange and menthol are nicely amplified in the glass. The 2022 signals a transition towards a more restrained style than in the past, something that is hard to fully see in a vintage marked by late-season rain but that is nevertheless quite evident. Hints of spice linger on the exceptionally finessed finish. Drink Date 2026-2034. Rating 95/100. -Antonio Galloni-

Elegant leuchtendes Rubinrot mit dezent aufhellendem Kern. In der Nase mit eleganten Anklängen von Erde, nassem Stein, Edelholz, erinnert nach etwas Luftzufuhr an Schokoladepulver, schwarze Holunderbeeren und etwas Minze. Am Gaumen kernig, mit engmaschigem, griffigem Tannin, dazu viel Saftigkeit, zeigt gute Spannung, auf Graphit, zeigt vertikalen Verlauf, druckvoller Nachhall.
