Robert Parker Wine Advocate:

A Cabernet-led blend (89.7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.8% Cabernet Franc, 2.5% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot), the 2021 Prince of Music is a bit oaky at this stage, showing plenty of mocha and heavy toast. There is some dark, plummy fruit lurking in the background, a rich, concentrated feel in the mouth and decent length on the finish, so there is cause for optimism; and I suspect the wine will be showing better by the time it hits retail shelves this fall. Drink Date 2024-2033. Rating 90/100. -Joe Czerwinski-

Vinous:

The 2021 Prince of Hearts is such a classy wine. Dark cherry, leather, licorice, spice and mocha are nicely amplified in a wine that has so much to offer. All the elements are so well balanced in this deep, layered Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot-based blend. This is so impressive. The 2021 has the forward fruit to be quite approachable, but also a good deal of supporting structure. It's a pretty big step up from prior releases. Drink Date 2023-2033. Rating 94/100. -Antonio Galloni-
