Based on Swiss and French clones, the 2022 Malanser Pinot Noir Selvenen is deep, intense and concentrated on the slightly toasty nose that delivers ripe cherry, black berry, licorice and chocolate aromas. Round and juicy on the palate, this full-bodied and juicy yet pithy red is savory and firmly structured by fine but serious, fine-grained and crunchy tannins that intermingle with the saline/mineral acidity, which leads to a long, pure and intense, very persistent and aromatic finish. This is a super young but excellent, very promising and age-worthy Pinot with a rather muscular or masculine character. Very exciting, 13.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. A firm, rigid pinot noir with a juicy center palate. On the nose it delivers notes of cherries, dried herbs, cedar and some bark. It’s medium-bodied with chewy tannins. (100% Pinot Noir, ein spezielles Fass, das von Paul Liversedge selektioniert worden ist, 80% Ganztrauben. 13.5% Alkohol) Helles Rubinrot; kräuterwürzige Nase, Kirschen, Waldbeeren; am Gaumen gradlinig, bereits gut zugänglich, delikate Frucht, sehr gute Struktur, die Gerbstoffe sind reif, die Säure hält frisch, wie oft bei Fromm von grosser Harmonie und mit sehr guter Länge, endet auf Blutorangen.
